a well-rounded christian foundation

We're here to nurture and support young learners: by providing an environment of Christian love, offering small class sizes, and giving a well-rounded education. We’re here to nurture and support our students each day, that they may grow and develop into lifelong learners.

  • Christian love: We teach Bible lessons that share the good news of Jesus, and our loving environment goes beyond lessons. Teachers and students treat each other with kindness and respect in a safe, welcoming environment full of Christian love.
  • Small class sizes: Our students are not lost in the shuffle, and they’re more than just a number. With our small class sizes, teachers are able to form meaningful relationships with students and individualize learning for them.
  • Well-rounded education: Lessons and learning are structured in a way to set an educational foundation for our students. From structured play to colors and numbers, from fun with cooking to basic literacy skills, the education we provide is aimed at developing well-rounded young learners.

Our mission is to assist parents in preparing their children for this life and the next by providing Christian love and support in a nurturing environment.

about us

First Lutheran Preschool is a place where the spiritual, intellectual, and social needs of children are nourished. We believe that all our students can achieve their full potential with encouragement; overcome challenges when they are guided with love and patience; gain confidence and a desire to create, explore, and learn; and create a foundation for future success.

Our curriculum is Christian-based and promotes the child's awareness of God's love and acceptance. Our program includes circle time (prayers, songs, Bible stories, calendar, social skills, and manners); show and tell; learning centers; development of physical skills (playground, gymnasium, free play, and organized games); snack time; large and small group activities; and art, drama, music, and movement. We echo the Savior's words: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).
